2026 PARPC Girls Spring Soccer Program

This is a recreational soccer program for school aged girls from Kindergarten to Eighth Grade who reside in the Palmyra, Pennsylvania area and surrounding communities. This is a program geared toward learning and fun, with equal time on the field during games for every player.

Do you have a busy schedule? No worries! Just make a note of the days you are unavailable Monday through Friday (games are mostly Saturday morning & early afternoon) and we’ll do our best to accommodate or give you your registration fee back!

GIRLS SOCCER FIRST THROUGH EIGHTH GRADE

Location -Practices held at Ridge Road Park (500 Ridge Road, Palmyra) and South Londonderry soccer field next to the Municipal Building & playground (West Market Street, Campbelltown).

Times-Practices will start the week of March 16th (weather permitting) and wrap up mid to late May. Days and times vary each season dependent upon schedule availability noted on registration forms. We balance ability, age, and schedule availability to make the program as balanced as possible for the best experience for our girls. This is done in order to do our very best to leave no athletes behind. You will be notified by coach regarding practice times by March 3rd to begin practices the week of March 16th . * Please note- coaches do not email everyone on the same day, but if you don’t hear by March 3rd and have double checked your SPAM folder with the email you provided to us, please email hhershey@palmyrarec.org or call 717-838-9244 with your child’s name and grade. Be sure to note on your registration the days of the week your athlete is NOT available.

Practices will be 2x per week the first 2 weeks of preseason then move to practices 1x per week with a Saturday game for the remainder of the season with a possibility of 1-2 games during the week due to Holidays and possible weather postponements.

Picture day is scheduled for April 11th for most teams. Note: Pictures will now be sent directly to your home for a small shipping fee.

Games- Generally run Saturdays starting at 9am & 10am for 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade, followed by 11am-2pm for 3rd, & 4th Grade, and 2pm-5pm for 1st & 2nd Grade. (Subject to change depending on the number of teams for 2026).

Fee– $90 for the eight-week program to include 7-8 games, all referee fees, soccer socks, and team t-shirts for players and coaches, $85 for additional siblings, $100 for Non- PASD athletes. PLEASE REGISTER BY FEBRUARY 10TH, $20 Late fee February 11th-17th and program CLOSED after February 17th. Please, no late registrations will be accepted so register early!

Sneakers and shin guards are required to play. No Jewelry, please. Cleats are not required. Bring your own soccer ball and water bottle with your name on it to all practices. Soccer ball sizes: Size 3 for KG and 1st & 2nd grade & size 4 for 3rd -8th grade.

Trying out for PASD or a Travel team? We can accommodate most players! Anyone who tries out and doesn’t make it or decides to play with us, we can take them- IF they sign up in our “standby” list beforehand and their schedule works with the team available in their age group.

Here’s what you need to do to get on the standby list:

Fill out the paper registration form below (not on active.com).
Write on the top of the registration form “trying out”
Send the registration form into our office at the address or drop box noted below by February 10th at the latest. Do NOT send payment with the registration form, we will just collect later if you decide to play (makes it easier for you and our accounting).
Email hhershey@palmyrarec.org as soon as you know what your status is for season after tryouts.
After tryouts, pay without the late fee if you decide to play with us with a check mailed to PARPC at 325 South Railroad St, Palmyra PA 17078 or put the fee in our tan outside drop box available at the same address anytime, 24/7. Note- Our registration closes after February 10^th so if you hear before then, it would be great. If your tryouts run after that date, please email us ASAP to get you on a team before our practices begin. You must notify us by March 3rd at the latest of your availability or contact hhershey@palmyrarec.org for other arrangements.

COACHES: Mandatory Coaches meeting at Judge’s Chambers at the Palmyra Municipal Building at 325 South Railroad Street, Palmyra PA, is scheduled for February 23rd at 5:30pm and will wrap up in 30-45 minutes. If you cannot attend, please email us at hhershey@palmyrarec.org for other arrangements later that week. All coaches and assistant coaches need a State Police Criminal Background Certificate and Child Abuse Clearance Certificate (please do not send a link as it always times out) emailed or dropped off to hhershey@palmyrarec.org before the first game.

R&K FUNDRAISER:

R&K fundraiser orders due by April 18th to PARPC. Sub pickup is April 28th from 2:30pm to 5:30pm at 325 South Railroad St, Palmyra. Forms can be put in the tan drop box outside of the Palmyra Municipal Building at the above address 24/7. Proceeds go toward equipment purchases and field maintenance to keep registration fees low for our young participants and our community. THANK YOU!
