Come out and join the fun at PARPC track!  Practices are Mondays and Wednesdays beginning on April 8th from 6pm-7:15pm (pending PASD approval) at the Palmyra Middle School track. Kids may try as many events as they would like such as the long jump, softball throw, running relays, and various running distances. Season concludes with an inter-squad track meet at the Palmyra Middle School Track, located at 50 West Cherry Street in Palmyra, PA on Saturday, May 16th. Program includes a PARPC Track team t-shirt.

ASSISTANT COACHES NEEDED- Please consider helping as we can only allow as many athletes as we have volunteers to safely organize practices. If we are short on parent help we will create a waiting list until we have enough parent volunteers. PARPC will refund your money if we don’t get enough parent helpers.  This is done to ensure the safety of all our athletes.  

• More parent volunteers needed as assistant coaches, please put your name on your child’s track registration form under “volunteer parent coach”  or you can email director@palmyrarec.org

Cost: $65  (Siblings  $ 60)   Participants must be 5 – 14yrs old Register by March 11th

(Late registration fee + $20  March 12th through March 17th)

Assistant Coach meeting is Monday, March 30th at 6:30pm at the Palmyra Municipal Building at 325 South Railroad Street, Palmyra PA. This is a mandatory meeting for all our Assistant Coach volunteers to receive information on season. All coaches and assistant coaches need a State Police Criminal Background Certificate and Child Abuse Clearance Certificate (please do not send a link as it always times out) emailed to director@palmyrarec.org before the first practice.

Picture Day: April 20th beginning at 5:45pm.  Note: Pictures will now be sent directly to your home for a small shipping fee.

Practices: PAMS Track on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm to 7:15 from April 8th through May 13th.

Please note we share the track with the school teams so be mindful of the school team’s practice and meet times as they will be using the track before us. The track must be clear of PASD track participants before we enter, so we do not disturb any PASD group.

Warmups for track will take place outside of the fenced in track area on school property right next to the track this season due to ongoing track renovations. All running events will be done on the track which is ready to go! We thank you for your patience if adjustments need to be made for renovation.

Times below are approved times for PARPC Track from 6pm to 7:15pm:

April 8th, 13th, 15th, 20th (picture day so arrive 15-30 minutes prior to practice), 22nd, 27th, 29th, May 4th, 6th, 11th, and 13th.

Intersquad Track Meet: May 16th at 8am, at the PAMS Track – 50 West Cherry Street, Palmyra PA

Fundraiser Information: R&K Sub orders due to our office at 325 South Railroad St, Palmyra, PA in the tan drop box outside of the building by April 18th with delivery on April 28th from 2:30pm to 5:30pm. Fundraiser proceeds help keep prices low for everyone in our community to participate.

HOW TO REGISTER: 

Please Register by March 11th! $20 late fee between March 12th and March 17th – Registration closed after March 17th BUT may close earlier depending on how fast we fill up on registrations. Please register early because there will be no late registrations accepted after March 17th.

Athlete Track Meet Event Form-  (Coming soon!) Every athlete must choose events with the Athlete Track Meet Event Form DUE TO COACH BY- TBD. If you do not submit a form by TBD, we will assume your child does not want to participate in the meet on May 16th.
